As part of Korean Digital New Deal, NTELS has formed a consortium with SK Telecom and been selected to conduct two projects: Government’s Private Network PoC and MEC (Mobile Edge Computing)-based 5G Convergence Service Adoption in Public Sector for Gyeonggi Province Office and Incheon International Airport, respectively.

Through Government’s Private Network PoC, NTELS aims to accelerate the expansion of private enterprise 5G, which has been emerged as one of the key areas of 5G. NTELS will provide MEC-based business platform during the project, MEC-based 5G Convergence Service Adoption in Public Sector. Since it is expected to see various MEC services, NTELS will upgrade the platform so that it can cover all business needs, including product management, charging and billing.

Since the government scales up digital transformation to cope with COVID-19, it is anticipated that the importance of network traffic monitoring and analysis will increase even more to support emerging industrial environments, such as Smart Factory and Smart Office.
