On July 7th, NTELS-a software solution and platform provider for communications and broadcasting-announced in a regulatory filing that it has signed a KRW 6.44 billion contract to supply the Advanced Electricity Meter (AEM) system to Uzbekistan.
Along with ongoing overseas business in Malaysia and Singapore, the Uzbekistan project is expected to take the company into a new dimension in terms of positioning in overseas markets. The contract amount of the AEM project accounts for 10 percent of last year’s sales.
