nTels Co., Ltd. (CEO JaeHee Shim) announced in a regulatory filing on October 7 that it has clinched a deal with SK Telecom to supply a 7.67 billion won data billing solution, which is the largest single contract since its inception.

nTels expects to experience an increase in demand for its traffic control solution for 3G and 4G networks. In addition, it sees steady sales growth due to increase in supply contracts for data billing solution, contrary to market concerns.

Given the recent success of closing this deal, nTels expects improved results in the second half.

As LTE-A (LTE Advanced) is heating up in the telecommunication industry, nTels solutions are expected to play significant roles in this transition. With a boost in high-quality large content and rich communication services, nTels expects to see a continuous increase in demand for its data billing and quality management solutions.

The amount of the contract with SK Telecom is 7.67 billion won, which equals 14.21 percent of the company’s sales last year.
