NTELS Joins Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF)

NTELS announced on July 21 that it has joined the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF). The OCF is an industry group whose stated mission is to develop standards and certification for devices involved in the Internet of Things (IoT) based around Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP). It has become one of the biggest industrial connectivity standards organizations for IoT, including in its membership Samsung Electronics, Intel, Microsoft and Qualcomm.

NTELS aims to lead the technology development of OCF-compliant platform and support a wide range of OCF-compliant devices as part of the OCF ecosystem, which will help gain competitive edge in the market and improve the national competitiveness.
An NTELS official said that the company’s recent membership at the OCF may lead to more opportunities to establish strategic cooperation and joint businesses with leading global companies.
