nTels Co., Ltd. received “Excellence Award” in 2012 Korea Software Technology Award.

nTels Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jae-Hee Shim) announced on November 7th that nTels received “Excellence Award” in the 2012 Korea Software Technology Award, which is held by Korea Software Technology Association.

Since 2001, Korea Software Technology Association, Knowledge Information Center, and Etnews have been evaluating domestic software companies in terms of enterprise resources and customer satisfaction to discover the competitive software companies. Awards are given to the selected companies in appreciation of their contribution in software industry.

nTels submitted its software ‘OSGi-based Service Integration Platform’ in ‘Product Technology/Architecture’ section and received the Excellence Award.

OSGi-based Service Integration Platform avoids the existing closed business model and adapted Open Standard Model which enables platform providers to reflect service model changes and different services flexibly. This platform provides various utilities to integrate with Legacy service or run as a new service. It is designed to overcome the weaknesses of existing Service Integration Platform (Oracle Open ESB, Apache ServiceMix) such as complexity of use, extreme use of resources, and inconvenient functions so that the platform is flexible enough to be used in Mobile, Small Business, and Enterprise environment.
