Billing World Excellence Awards Recognize nTels as a Most Promising OSS Vendor

SEOUL, March 5, 2007 — TeleStrategies’ Billing World & OSS Today magazine (www.billingworld.com) selected nTels as finalist for the Most Promising Company category of its annual Excellence Awards.

Established in 2001, Billing World Excellence Awards have been highly honored in telecommunications billing and OSS industry. Finalists are cast by the awards’ judging panel, consisting of Billing World & OSS Today editors and industry experts, after a period of open nominations. “The competition is fierce,” says Edward Finegold, editor-in-chief of the magazine.

The nomination represents the industry recognition of the nTels’ contribution to Asian-Pacific telecommunications market, the home to many operators of most advanced service networks in the globe. Mr. Finegold emphasizes that “being selected as finalist is truly a recognition of the excellence your company is bringing to the OSS/BSS sector and its customers.” Last year nTels provided convergent billing solutions to a number of major Asia-Pacific operators, and also assisted several start-ups in the region with the company’s consulting expertise.

nTels is now aggressively marketing its solutions to potential customers in the Middle East and Europe. According to Wesley Kim, senior consultant and global market expert at nTels, “In markets like the Middle East and Europe, billing expertise is more than important – it’s vital, especially if the operator is looking to monetize from a new service such as IMS or mobile WiMAX.” Mr. Kim also points out that “Operators should keep in mind that highly profitable operators like SK Telecom always had a billing expert like nTels behind their big success.”

Having been the frontier of the evolving industry, nTels boasts a long list of many successful world’s first or implementations of cutting-edge telecom technology, including IMS and mobile WiMAX. The company’s latest development includes WiMAX Billing Suite™ featuring breakthrough product and lifecycle management functionalities for rapid product development-deployment and sophisticated product bundling, and Smart Convergence™ Real-Time Charging Platform™ offering convergent on-line charging and account balance management capability covering multiple concurrent prepaid and postpaid transactions of voice, data, and content services.

nTels is no stranger to Billing World Excellence Awards. The company has been named finalist every year since 2002 – in Achievement in Innovation and Mediation categories in 2002, Best Mediation Solution category in 2003, Achievement in Innovation category in 2004, Best New Product and Most Promising Company categories in 2005, and Achievement in Innovation category in 2006. In 2005, nTels brought home the Best New Product winner’s trophy, for its N-Mediator IMS CGF (Charging Gateway Function).
